The Red Deer Islamic Centre and the rest of Alberta's Muslim community strongly condemns the cowardly attack in Sri Lanka . This act of violence proves that terrorism does not know religion, colour or race. It inflicts pain wherever it strikes and it has no place in our society. We send our sympthy to the victims’ families and ask God (Allah) to give their families and friends the power to endure. We wish the injured a speedy recovery and we pray for their good health. We are all equal in the eyes of God and he is the only one who could and should judge us since we pray to him. Our hearts are with all the people of Sri Lanka and may God bless them all.
